Westward Fishing Company is a family owned business which was founded in 1979. Initially set-up to look after the family run vessels, it soon began offering its services to other vessel owners and skippers.

Since then the company has grown and now acts as agent for, and in partnership with, several vessels participating in a range of fisheries such as prawn, scallop, pelagic and whitefish.

Westward remains committed to the fishing industry and to ensuring that investment is made to help modernise the fleet and to bring new entrants into the industry.
